Current Classes and Services

In addition to all the meetings, special events, weddings, holiday, and anniversary parties  held at the WCC, there are a host of COMMUNITY AND CIVIC GROUPS who meet here on a regular basis.

Lion’s Club meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 6pm – 8pm.
Rotary Club Luncheons are held every Tuesday from 12pm – 2:00pm. 
Garden Club meets every 2nd Wednesday 9:00am – 12:00pm September thru May.
The Wimberley Birding Society meets the 3rd Monday, 9:00am – 12:00, September thru May
Wimberley Valley Art League meets the 2nd Monday, from 6:00pm – 9:00pm, September thru May.
Music Together ® is an early childhood music and movement class for infants, toddlers, and pre-school aged children…and the grown-ups who love them. It is an international program that provides musical experiences in a playful, exploratory setting. Music Together classes are based on the idea that making music with children, in the family and in a group of families enriches the lives of children and parents and promotes musical growth. Wimberley Mayors Fitness Council Classes $2 Community Fitness Class, All ages and fitness levels are welcome – this exercise program is practical, gentle, and very efficient – you’ll feel great all day!  Contact 512-558-1220 with questions, or bring $2 and give it a try.  Every Monday & Friday 9 AM – 10:15 AM.

Play-Well TEKnologies – December 19 – 23, 2011, 5 sessions, Pre Engineering Ages 5-7, 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, $150 Students will build cities, bridges, and motorized cars/planes and explore the many creative possibilities of engineering with LEGO system. Will access to over 100,000 pieces of LEGO, your child will have the opportunity to build what they have only dreamed of with the support of an experienced Play-Well Engineering instructor to guide them.  Register at: www.play-well.org

Play-Well TEKnologies – Dec 19 – 23, 2011, 5 sessions, Engineering FUNdamentals Ages 8 – 12, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM, $150 Have your child become a Play-Well Engineer! Students explore concepts in physics, architecture, mechanical and structural engineering, from Gear Cars to Battle tracks.  The engineer-designed curriculum challenges new and returning students to reach higher levels of engineering comprehension while having fun. Marketing Meet-up 1st Tuesday of each month. 11:30 am – 1:30 PM, $3 class fee, bring your own lunch, Hosted by Helen Stutchbury.  Learn the keys to marketing your business on the internet.  How to maximize the use of facebook, twitter and many of the other network marketing services without consuming all of your time.
